Lark L. Lovejoy, MS, LPC
Licensed Professional Counselor
I have worked in the human services field for twenty-four years and as a mental health counselor for ten years. My license to practice counseling was granted by the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists. The two main therapeutic modalities that I offer are Gottman Couple’s Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I have trained up to level three in Gottman Couples Therapy and have been accepted into the Gottman Foundation’s Certification Program. My ACT counseling style has been largely influenced by the work of Dr. Russ Harris.
My background also includes four years of experience providing dual-diagnosis counseling for trauma and addiction, and I was trained in body-centered couples counseling through the Hendricks Institute of California. I received training in grief and loss support through Winterspring and in Neuro-Linguistic Programming with The Institute for Professional Leadership. I am experienced in working with individuals, couples, families, and groups.
When not counseling, I love to write music and poetry, sing, dance, create art, travel, and spend time with my husband, family, and friends.
